The Gray Wolf
The closest living relative of the modern dog, whose range across North America, Asia, and Europe makes it one of the world’s most widely distributed mammals. Though its ancestors served as invaluable companions for the many millennia that followed the end of the last ice age, their reconsideration as a threat to livestock at the outset of civilization greatly restricted their distribution and caused extinction across much of their former range. Global efforts from wildlife conservancies to restore a synergistic relationship with the gray wolf and humanity continue, as they strive to reestablish it in its former range and restore balance to the ecosystems from which it was displaced.
This paper was made from a blend of the Kozo fibers of the Paper Mulberry tree and the abundance of leaves and fiber that fall from mango groves in Thailand.
